Premier

Mitch Davidoff
Victoria native Mitch Davidoff progressed through local baseball programs and played college ball at Tacoma Community College, Yakima Valley Community College, Patten University in California, and Central Christian University in Kansas where he earned a degree in Business Management. Mitch has previously coached with both the Victoria Mariners and the Victoria Eagles and was the Greater Victoria Baseball Association’s Technical Director for 5 years. He currently serves as the BC Head Coach for the Pacific Northwest Regional games in Washington State, and he is in his 11th year as Director of Baseball Operations at the Lambrick Park High School Baseball/Softball Academy.

Dave Auger
Dave has coached with the Victoria Eagles since our inception in 2010. In 2019, he managed the JP Eagles to a BCJPBL Championship. In 2025, Dave was named the Defensive Coordinator for the Eagles where he worked with all three teams. He also supported the coaching staff as associate coach for both Premier and Junior Premier teams throughout the season.

Scott Smith
Born and raised in Victoria, Scott has played baseball all his life. He was a member of Team BC twice, winning a Western Championship and a National Championship under Canadian baseball legend Walt Burrows. He played college ball at Green River Community College in Washington State. After college, Scott was a player/coach for the Goodwood Baseball Club in Adelaide, Australia. He served as the Manager of the Junior Premier Mariners for 13 years, winning the BCJPBL Championship in 2012. He has has been an instructor with Batters Box Canada and Associate Coach for the Premier team since 2022.

Jason Gibson
Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Jason grew up playing for the Victoria Mariners Junior Premier and Premier high school teams. As a junior in high school he was chosen for the 30 Man Rosters for Team Canada. While in high school he had received a scholarship to Central Arizona College, AZ which led to playing at Panola Junior College, TX and landing a Div.1 NCAA scholarship to McNeese State University, LA. Once graduated, Jason was recruited to play for the Triple Play Hornets (Seattle, Washington) winning the West Coast Series Championship in the summer of 2009. While at Panola College, he was invited to play at the Texas All Star Game and went on to play for the Okotoks Dawgs in the Western Major Baseball League back to back years. Jason has served the Victoria Eagles Premier Team as Pitching Coach since 2023.
Junior Premier

Josh Campbell
Josh Campbell grew up in Victoria, BC, where his love for baseball began at an early age. He went on to play two years of collegiate baseball at Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) in Oregon. After returning home, Josh transitioned his passion for the game into coaching and has spent over a decade developing athletes in Victoria, both on the diamond and in the weight room. In addition to more than ten years of coaching baseball, Josh has also specialized in strength and conditioning, helping athletes at all levels improve their performance and reach their goals. For the past two seasons, he has served as the Assistant Coach for the Victoria Premier team, bringing his extensive knowledge of player development to the organization. Recently, Josh completed his Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a focus on Strength and Conditioning, further elevating his expertise in athlete performance and long-term athletic development.

Jay WIllow
Jason was born and raised in Victoria and played BC Premier Baseball for 4 years with the Victoria Mariners. While in high school, he was a member of the Canadian Junior National Team for 2 years and played in the 2017 World Championships. Jason was selected in the 24th round of the 2017 MLB draft by the Baltimore Orioles. Jason graduated from NCAA Div. 1 UC Santa Barbara where he had played for 5 years. Prior to his role as the 2025 Bantam Manager, Jason was a member of the Premier Eagles coaching staff.
